12/8/2000 The Big Game Hunt removal

I have heard the rumor about Big Game Hunt being removed and now it seems that it will happen more then likely. I donít have a problem with the removal of Big Game Hunt or other things at Worlds of Fun but I do have a problem if it gets replaced with the rumored NASCAR simulator. When was the last time NASCAR held a race in Africa? Never, as far as I can remember. This would show you how much they care about the themeing of the park if it were come true. I do not have the problem with them adding a NASCAR simulator but only in the right location and I do have to wonder what the profits are form one of these. In all the parks I traveled to that had a pay extra simulator nobody was riding them plus a lot of parks have a simulator as part of the basic attraction package.

Why not put it up by the Grand Prix and use the same staff that sales tickets for the Grand Prix to also sale tickets for the Simulator? This to me would make more sense to me. They could put it to the right of the Grand Prix, in between Grand Prix and Rockní Reeler. Or they could put were the fountain is (I would hate to lose the fountain but itís not in very good shape) and have it high traffic area. These are just my feelings if this rumor comes true and remember it still is only a rumor. One more finale comment, why not add a Top Fuel Eliminator Dragsters on the old tram road? I would love to see and ride that (and yes I would pay extra for that!)." ------
