Mamba 1998 - Present Mamba is a menacing 205-foot tall roller coaster and is the largest addition to the park to-date. After departing from the African section, riders travel along the park's southern border and experience over a mile of steep drops, g-forces and airtime.

F.Y.I. Since its opening in 1998, Mamba has constantly been ranked among the top 25 steel coasters in the country by enthusiasts and amusement publications. And, as the largest addition to the park in its history, Mamba was built at a cost of $10 million. That's just $10 million less than the $20 million price tag to built the park in the early 70s.
