How can I beat Worlds of Fun's food prices?

Worlds of Fun's food prices are outrageously high, especially when you compare almost $4.00 for a hamburger at the park to McDonald's .79 for the same thing. Visitors have two options besides paying Worlds of Fun's prices. Visitors, especially from the Kansas City area can bring their own lunch, and make a small picnic out of their trip. If you do decide to bring your own picnic lunch or dinner be advised that you will not be allowed to bring any outside food or beverages into the park. There are several shaded picnic areas located throughout the parking lots, one is located between lots C and D. A third option would be to head outside the park. There is a Wendy’s and Waffle House directly outside the park on Parvin Road. Another possibility is in Claycomo, only two minutes down the road. Claycomo includes several fast food restaurants including Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and McDonalds. For your convenience we have directions posted on this web site, but also remember to collect your receipt for parking and to have your hands stamped on exiting the park.
