Welcome to the Unofficial Oceans of Fun WebSite! Oceans Of Fun opened on Memorial Day 1982 and was at the time the largest water park in the world! It is still the largest in the Mid-West. It was built with a tropical theme which the park still carries today. Now covering over 60 acres, the park was designed as a seperate entity from Worlds Of Fun. Today the two parks are joined through the Same-Day Gateway and Monsoon, a ride they both share. New for the 1999 season is Hurricane Falls, a white water rafting super slide! Time remaining in Oceans of Fun's 21st Splashfilled Season!
